inbox-ops ยท Last updated 10 October 2026
Who this app is for
inbox-ops is a personal app operated by Marek Kirejczyk for his own use only. It lets an assistant fetch his email and propose draft replies, which he reviews before anything is sent. It is not offered to the public, and no other person's Google account is connected to it. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated first.
What it accesses
With my permission, granted through Google sign-in, the app accesses my own Google account to:
- Gmail: read messages in my inbox, create and update drafts, send replies that I approve, and archive conversations (move them out of the inbox) when I archive or finish them in the app, or move them back when I restore them.
- Google Calendar: see the list of my calendars and add events I approve. It does not read existing events.
It does not delete or trash email, change any label other than moving conversations in and out of the inbox, or access contacts, Drive or any other Google data.
Where the data is kept
The app runs on my own computer. Messages, tickets and drafts are stored in a local database there. Google access tokens are stored encrypted. Nothing is stored on servers run by the app.
Who the data is shared with
To suggest replies and calendar entries, the text of a conversation is sent to the AI model provider I configure (currently Anthropic) for processing. Access tokens and other secrets are never sent to it. The data is not sold, used for advertising, or shared with anyone else.
Google API Services User Data Policy
inbox-ops' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is used only to provide the features described above, and is not used to develop, improve or train generalized AI or machine-learning models.
Removing access and data
Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Deleting the app's local database removes all stored data.
